Introduction

I'm a M.S. student in Dr. Li's Lab at Shanghai Jiaotong University. I majored in Biological Science during my undergraduate study. Biology is one of the most complex subjects in the 21st century. It cannot make such a progress without great efforts and the involvement of scientists from many subjects. It's really challenging and I like it.

I enjoy playing football and I play as a midfilder in our college football team. My favorite team is Real Madrid. I also like listening to music, post-rock is my favorite genre. I often spend my holidays traveling, it gives me unforgettable time seeing beautiful places and learning culture, history, people and their lifestyle.

    My Research Interests

Microorganisms play essential roles in both ecology and health. However, it's not that easy to study them, only few microbe can be isolated and cultured in the lab. With the development of high-throughput techniques, we can study the composition and function of the microbial flora without isolating each. Metagenome reveals the diversity and metabolic potential of microscopic life, and Metaproteome gives an insight into all proteins recovered from gut or environmental samples. Find a proper way combining those omics data will promote our understanding of microbial flora.
