Department of Bioinformatics & Biostatistics
Bioinformatics & Biostatistics concerns the development of computational methods for the design and analysis of studies in modern life science research.
We are trying to:
- Bring modern computational methods to a wide spectrum of modern biological problems
- Advance knowledge in bioinformatics & biostatistics through educational programs for students and researchers
- Provide leadership and outstanding scholarship in research, teaching, and services
Our graduate program will provide:
- Data mining approaches for deciphering transcriptional regulatory systems;
- Statistical methods for decoding the underlying mechanisms of complex diseases;
- State-of-the-art techniques for structure-based drug design
