·CURRENT STATUS:  Updating the classifier

·DESCRIPTION:  Yajie Tu had built a Naïve Bayesian classifier to predict rice PPI. The classifier is consist of five resources:

1. interlogos,
2. shared GO annotation,
3. fusion gene,
4. domain-domain interaction,
5. co-occurrence.

He also built a rice tissue specific network database: R-TEC. Now I'm in charge of refining the classifier and database, which means I'm going to put more resources to the classifier and optimize the user interface.

·PARTICIPATION:  updating and refinement

·SUMMARY:  During the refinement, I've learned a lot skills:

1. Naïve Bayesian classifier
2. HTML + PHP
3. MySQL database
4. web design
5. parallel computation

Besides from the skills, I also gained an important knowledge when it comes to manage super massive files. We need to form a healthy habits around creating hierarchical folders and writting file logs.
